What do we actually do?

Within the life sciences industry, there is a regulatory requirement that you -as a producer of a medicinal product- have to prove by documented evidence that you can consistently produce medicinal products of a high quality standard. So that's where we -as a Qualification Validation division- step in to help our customers produce that documented evidence. To make sure that their process, their testing methodologies and their equipment is consistently producing that high level quality of their medicinal products.

Qualification & Validation in QbD

As we are one of the biggest divisions within the QbD Group, we have highly motivated and well knowledgeable consultants within our team. We can greatly contribute to the success of the QbD Group.

We also do quite big projects within our team. In our division we have a good mixture of more senior consultants with some less experienced junior consultants. This combination allows for the transfer of valuable knowledge and experience from our senior experts to the junior consultants, enabling an accelerated learning curve for the latter.

What character traits make you shine in Qualification & Validation?

An important character trait to have within our division is that you should be eager to learn. Because in every project there are new types of equipment, new systems you need to get to know, figure out how to operate them, and at the same time find out which technology is behind it. So that makes it interesting. And if that motivates you, that would be ideal. It’s also important that you’re very thorough in what you do. Because we test the equipment and we need to show that it's really fit for its intended use.

"As a division head, I'm of course very proud of being part of the QualVal division. I think we have a really nice team of highly motivated and very knowledgeable consultants, where joy is an important part of their job. It’s really fun working with all these nice people."
