What do we actually do?

In our division we help customers to bring their products to the market. We help them in all commercial aspects. We teach them, we guide them, and create for them. In all areas of sales, marketing and communications.

Both Steven and I, and the colleagues of our communication department ‘Monkeys Not Donkeys’, have a large experience and can bring tools to customers which they can very quickly adopt.

Our values

For us, it’s very important that customers perceive us as a high quality service provider. High quality means that we put ourselves in our customer's shoes. We create an open mind, listen to them and bring our expertise in a way that they understand it and it provides added value. That's one of the major aspects to which we aspire: the respect for our customers and the quality that comes with it.

Business & Communications in QbD

Our division is complementing the story from idea to patent. All other divisions work usually very early on in the flow of a product. We most often come at the end, when they need to go to the market. And that was something that today QbD was not offering until a year ago.

Within QbD so many people are active in or have contacts with different companies. We would like the other divisions to know that we can step in to needs that often companies don't realize at this present moment. So asking those potential customers about the journey they have in mind -which steps are still to come- often opens an option where we can step in and say “can we help you?”. So in that perspective our colleagues can bring in leads where we can help customers further than they initially expected.

Which part of my job gives me the most energy?

“Every time that I'm working with the customer directly and you bring them answers to their needs, this gives you a very satisfactory feeling.”

What character traits make you shine in Business & Communications?

In our division it's important to have an open mind to the customers. We listen to them, ask questions and really challenge the customers to go deep enough in order so we can really understand their challenge, their needs. And after that -obviously all the expertise of the full team together helps a lot- we can bring solutions. In such a way that the customers see: ‘This is going to work’. In the last year, we have learned that with several of our customers, they automatically grow from one need into another. And we can offer solutions every time.
